Artist Bio:
The Chairs consist of a married couple named Eric and Donna Prust and Tor Hougen. They met at a bluegrass jam in Livermore, California and developed an appreciation for old time music as well.
Eric plays the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, harmonica and usually sings backing vocals. He also sings lead on a couple of songs as well. Donna plays the bass, and on occasions sings lead as well. Tor plays the guitar, banjo, mandolin, mouth harp and sings lead on most of the songs.
Eric and Donna now live in Sequim, Washington (very close to Port Townsend) and have been experimenting with online collaborations since Tor continues to live in Walnut Creek, California.
About every three months, Tor flies up to Washington to jam and record with Eric, Donna and others.
