Artist Bio:
ThorNton Creek has been performing around Puget Sound since 1997. Singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist Thornton Bowman's lyrics and wistful Southern voice are at the heart of the band, which has been described as "oozing out of the cracks between Neil Young, John Hiatt, Wilco, and John Prine."
Thornton Bowman writes songs, plays acoustic guitar, and sings. MJ Bishop sings and plays things, but she's moving to Nashville in 2010 and only playing with us when she can. Steve Miller plays bass. Mark Drake plays drums. Don Miller plays electric guitar and sings. Eric Smith joined the band in 2009 to play mandolin, dobro, and many other things.
