Artist: Lisa DeBenedictis
Lisa is a songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist living in Southern California. All the music on these pages was written, played, and mixed by Lisa in her home studio.
Lisa began playing piano at an early age and has a classical background. She also studied jazz piano at the University of Oregon. After teaching herself guitar she formed her first band, "Ring of 17" with vocalist Ariel Jones. She also plays with L.A. vocalist and poet Bernard DeBenedictis as "DirtyDirtyRockStar." She began writing, singing, and producing her own solo songs in 2002.
Lisa finished her debut album and was signed to the Magnatune label in 2003. Her latest CD, "Tigers" was released in 2005. |
