Same time, you're waiting for me to come home.
I look to see if there's a frown
or nothing at all.
I'm tired - almost broken, welcome to softly spoken,
(disease of being open). I'm not a part of this scene.

It hasn't always been this way
so I wait for love to change
(but it's always me who takes the blame).

You kick me back against the wall.
And when I try and raise a smile...
You just kick me back against the wall.

Is this the night for passion? What I was I've now forgotten.
You've finally made me feel as insecure as you.
One word, a simple gesture, one touch designed for pleasure,
too close and everything goes cool (it never used to).
But I just can't tear myself away and settle for a memory.

Because it's always me who takes the blame.

You kick me back against the wall.
And as I try and raise a smile...
You just kick me back against the wall.

It's always me who takes the blame

You kick me back against the wall.
And when I try and raise a smile,
you kick me back against the wall.
And I''m feeling sorry for myself.
You kick me back against the wall.
I just try and raise a smile.
You kick me back against the wall.

Lyrics: Click To View Or Hide Song Lyrics
As I fall
out of this window,
I become the eye;
the eye that sees the world.

No matter what you're thinking,
or what you do,
there's no escaping what I know about you.

I feel the power
from the air.
I have control over everything.

Take me away...
There should be no more of this.
Hold back the papers
(seal it with a poison kiss.)

Skyscraper
watching me all the time:
Pushing down into the ground,
screaming up to the sky.

I'm looking down in your direction,
I assume that I have your attention.
No matter how you see me,
or what you say,
now I control you, you can never turn away.

I draw the power from the air.
I take control of everything.

Take me away...
There should be no more of this.
Hold back the papers
(seal it with a poison kiss.)

Skyscraper
watching me all the time:
Pushing down into the ground,
screaming up to the sky.

And every time
I think of you
I think it's gone
but that's not true.

And every time
I walk away
Counterclock
turns me this way.

And every time
I think of you
I think it's gone
but that's not true.

And now I've gone
and the pendulum stop...
in my my mind
I'm the counterclock.

And now I've gone
and the pendulum stop,
I've taken the place...
Counterclock.

And every time
I think of you
I think it's gone
but that's not true.

And every time
I walk away
Counterclock
turns me this way.

And every time
I think of you
I think it's gone
but that's not true.

In my mind
I'm the counterclock.

And now I've gone
and the pendulum stop,
I've taken the place...

Counterclock.

Sound Put

Take a melodic vocal that would do the 60's British Pop scene proud. Drop in a gentle soundscape, then beat it until it screams. Give it a bit of trippy syncopation here and there. Throw in a touch of electronic harpsichord and a musically educated waterdrop. Before you're done, don't forget to invite the burly, hairy-scary, tattooed guys from next door over and insist they bring the guitars and sledgehammers. Then tell everybody that they're just going to *have to* play nice together. That's Sound Put.

This third CD is an excellent effort from crashtv as they grow more distinctly into their own sound. It would be some damn fine Pop 'n Roll if it wasn't threateningly Industrial. It pays homage to a diversity of musical influences from early Nine Inch Nails to the Beatles to the Cardiacs to Philip Glass, all the while thumbing its nose at the suggestion that those influences shouldn't be hanging around together
