All of our newsletter subscriber’s emails are held on the IndieHeart.com website and are administered through our own database. None of these email addresses are shared with a third party for any reason. We briefly collected subscriber first names during a contest in 2017, but the names have now been removed from all email addresses we store on our server. If we run another contest which collects first names for the purpose of identifying the winner, we will remove all names from the database within 7 days after then contest winner is announced.
IndieHeart.com does not associate your IP Address with your email address at any point during data collection. Visitor logs, which contain IP addresses and the sites visited, are held on the server for up to 62 days for the purpose of site administration to block bots, spiders, and other “bad actors”. Visitor logs for the previous month are automatically deleted at the end of the next month.
Because our site is backed up on a weekly basis for purposes of assuring it can be restored if it is hacked or corrupted, your email address may be stored in a cloud backup of the site on Pcloud.com for up to seven weeks before it is automatically deleted from the cloud. For this reason, the site administrator keeps a local copy of deleted email addresses for seven weeks to assure that if a backup is restored, your email address can be removed immediately upon restoration.
THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS WHO COLLECT YOUR DATA ON THIS SITE
pCloud.com provides backup services for jillnojack.com. Backups are automatically deleted after seven weeks when the next backup runs. Access to these backups by the pCloud staff would be a violation of their terms of service.
